Before the web, if you wanted to get all of your sci-fi news, gossip, and just general geekery, you bought magazines like Starlog. That’s where all the info about movies and comics and TV shows came from (and you had to wait a month). It’s amazing to think that in the 70s, 80s and even early 90s we didn’t have much access to info, and it was almost impossible to find episode guides to any TV show.
They stopped publishing a few years ago, but now the Internet Archive has put every issue online for free download!
Yup, I used to collect Starlog. I still remember seeing the magazine on the newsstand when I was around 10 or 11 years old and almost hyperventilating I was so excited. Enjoy, nerds!
